During April, we can enjoy the cherry blossom season in Vancouver and celebrate the arrival of spring! Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival takes place until April 29th. The 2015 new Members' registration has come to an end on March 31st; we welcome all the new members to the Wingtat family! Wingtat 25th Anniversary Lucky Draw Sticker event has successfully come to an end on February 28th, please check out the list of winning sticker numbers below or via our website. Congratulations to Wingtat Membership Merchant -Claypot Hotpot & BBQ for winning 2015 Diners' Choice Awards: Best Hot Pot Restaurant. In this issue, Wingtat Kitchen will showcase two appetizing dishes for you to enjoy during the Spring time.

Wingtat 25th Anniversary Lucky Draw has successfully come to an end on February 28th. Wingtat sincerely thank everyone's participation and support. The twenty five lucky numbers were randomly generated by the computer. The list of winning sticker numbers and prizes is officially announced on March 27th, 2015 via Wingtat website and published in Ming Pao Newspaper’s April 3rd and April 10th Gourmet Supplement. Please note that all participants are responsible to check and verify to see if their lucky draw sticker numbers match any of the winning numbers.

Holders of the winning sticker labels must first call Wingtat Office during office hours at (604) 278-4450 to register your name, your winning sticker’s number and contact number. All prizes must be claimed from now till April 30th, 2015. In order to claim your prize, winners must present their winning sticker label along with a personal photo identification. Wingtat reserves the right to draw for another lucky number for each prize unclaimed. Wingtat is not responsible for any mishandling of lucky draw sticker labels and/or damaged or unreadable lucky draw sticker labels.

Diners were invited to nominate and vote their favourites from February 10th to March 22nd, 2015. Now, the 2015 Diners' Choice Awards result is finally revealed. Congratulations to Wingtat Membership Merchant - Claypot Hotpot & BBQ for winning Best Hot Pot Restaurant Award. Consumers' enthusiastic participation of the annual Diners' Choice Awards for the Metro Vancouver Region has inspired changes every year. Together with the Awards team of professional food critics and consumers, the food bloggers will create a new comprehensive dining guide.

All votes were vertified by EY Canada, the official auditor of the Awards.

In this issue, Wingtat Kitchen is introducing two new recipes for you to enjoy with family and friends.

Besides an appetizer salad, soup also plays an important role in the western cuisine. This creamy chicken green bean soup is the perfect appetizer to serve to your guests. Wingtat Free Run Chicken tastes delicious and is low in fat, cook with onion and serve with the creamy soup, such a wonderful combination! Indeed a soup for all ages.

For most housewives, quail is the best for soup! We will surprise you with this receipe by using this little game bird – quail as an entrée. We add South Asian flavor by using galangal and turmeric powder with tomatoes; which are rich in anti-oxidant and pineapples which are good for improving the digestion system. This entrée is not only good for your health, but will also give you the sweet and sour taste that is appetizing.
