Drinking a lot of cold beverages during summer is not ideal for the stomach; therefore, it is recommended to cook some seasonal soup to help regulate the body. Due to the hot weather, the soup should have the benefit of removing the moisture and nourishing the body. Quail is a great choice for soup as it offers a sweet and delicious taste. The chayote (palm-shaped gourd) is packed with a variety of vitamins and benzine which are beneficial to the digestive system. Pears can help nourish the lungs and quench thirst, and can also help remove the body’s internal heat, calm the brain and cleanse the intestines.
Carrots are rich in carotene, which help promote metabolism and remove excess moisture and waste inside our bodies. This summer quail soup is especially beneficial for the whole family, especially children who tends to eat a lot of fried snacks during the summer holidays.
