The Pacific Autism Family Network (PAFN) is a network that provides support to individuals and families affected by autism and related neurodiversity. With various centers located throughout British Columbia, each site offers a range of personalized resources tailored to meet the unique needs of its community.
The JET Program at PAFN primarily aims to develop essential skills for individuals aged 19 and older, promoting their independence and inclusion in the community while enhancing their livelihoods.
Each week, PAFN hosts a fully self-funded community lunch that offers training opportunities for participants to learn food preparation and cooking skills. Funding for this initiative is generated through the sale of affordable lunch plates to our staff, program participants, and community members, with all proceeds being used entirely to purchase ingredients and kitchen supplies.
This Thanksgiving, Wingtat supported PAFN's JET program with supplying Wingtat RWA Chicken Drumsticks to prepare for their Thanksgiving lunches. |
