Homemade breakfast and brunch meals naturally come to mind especially during the month of appreciation for our Moms and during Mother‘s Day weekend. This recipe is a dish that can be easily prepared together with your child – makes for lovely bonding time. This savoury, healthy, simple-to-prepare omurice (omelet with fried rice) can also be made for the awesome motherly figure(s) in your life. The light, fluffy omelet wraps and holds in the delicious fried rice; it is then blanketed over with minced chicken in sauce. What a cheerful, sweet way to start this special day to express your love and gratefulness! (Alternatively, the recipe can be prepared with Wingtat RWA Chicken Breasts.)

Ingredients

Marinade:
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Pepper Powder 1/8 tsp
  • Sesame Oil 1/2 tsp
  • Corn Starch1/2 tsp
Spices / Sauces:
  • Salt1/4 tsp
  • Sugar1/2 tsp
  • Corn Starch1 tsp
  • Evaporated Milk2 tbsp
  • Water1/4 cup

Directions

  • Beat egg well, add 2 teaspoons corn starch and water mixture, 1/4 teaspoon salt, Sauté the egg as omelet.
  • Marinate the grounded chicken for 10 minutes. NOTE: poultry product alternative option: Wingtat RWA Chicken Breasts.
  • Heat some oil, stir fried the cooked rice with 1 teaspoon soy sauce and the green pea. Put rice in and fold the omelet as half circle.
  • Sauté onion pellets, curry powder, chicken with heated oil and mix well with seasonings. Then sprinkle over the sizzling ingredients on the omelet.
