Here is a dish we dedicate to our Moms; thank you for all your love, care and support! We recommend this beautiful dish using Wingtat Canada Chicken. The chicken meat is mixed with minced shrimps, suitable for people of all ages to enjoy. The outer layer is white fungus; it is pure, pretty (glowing like the moon) and rich in protein and amino acids, beneficial for our lungs. Resembling flowers, the tender gai lan complements this dish. Wishing all Moms a Happy, sweet Mother‘s Day!

Ingredients

Marinade:
  • Salt2/3 tsp
  • Sugar1/4 tsp
  • Ginger Wine1 tbsp
  • Corn Starch1 tsp
Spices / Sauces:
  • Chicken/Vegetable Soup2/3 cup
  • Corn Starch1/2 tsp

Directions

  • Slice up the Wingtat Canada Chicken, and chop into small pieces. Clean shrimp and mince it. Cut tofu into thick pieces, and sculpt into flower shape. Save left over for later use. Soak the White fungus until soft, remove hard part. Cut white fungus into small pieces, and drain it till it is dry.
  • Put the chicken meat and minced shrimp together and mix well with marinated sauce, mix in the free run chicken egg and the left over tofu, form meatballs with the mixture, and dip in the sliced white fungus.
  • Place the flower shaped tofu onto the plate, put the meatballs on each flower shaped tofu, steam for 10 minutes, and remove excess water.
  • Place the cooked baby gai lan on the side of the plate, pour the spices sauce on top, and the delicious plate is done.
