Ingredients

  • onion1/2
  • clove garlic1
  • all-purpose flour2-3 tbsp
  • pork fat (slice a little piece of fat off the stea1 tbsp lard
  • salt1 pinch
  • black pepper1 pinch
Marinade:
  • Worcestershire sauce3 tbsp
  • oyster sauce1 tbsp
  • soy sauce2 tbsp
  • mirin3 tbsp
  • liquid kelp stock (work with chicken or beef stock1/2 tbsp

Directions

  • Grate and combine onion and garlic; rub all over pork slice. Cover and marinate for 2 hours in refrigerator.
  • With a spoon gently scrape off and remove grated onion and garlic, save for later.
  • Lightly coat pork slice with all-purpose flour and shake it gently to remove the excess flour.
  • Place a piece of lard on a preheated pan and lay down pork slice when it’s melted. Cook one side over medium heat for medium rare then flip the slice.
  • Add grated onion and garlic used to marinate pork, Worcestershire sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, mirin and stock in the pan, let sauce simmer for a minute or two.
  • Place steak on a plate and pour remaining sauce over it. Enjoy.
