Chinese Wolfberry promotes the blood circulation, and is also good for the liver and eyes. Ginger is an important ingredient in chicken soup which helps warm up the body. Overall, this soup can be enjoyed by new Moms to help increase their energy.

Ingredients

  • Wingtat Cornish Hen x1
  • Prince Ginseng2 tbsp
  • Chinese yam7-8 slices
  • Lotus seeds1/4 cup
  • Chinese wolfberry1 tbsp
  • Ginger3 slices
  • Water10 cup

Directions

  • Wash the cornish and cut the chicken into portions; remove the blood and pat dry the cornish. Wash the Prince Ginseng, Chinese yam and Lotus seeds, and flatten the ginger.
  • Boil water, add in the cornish, Prince ginseng, Chinese yam, lotus seeds and ginger slices, and cook on high heat for 30 minutes. Turn to middle heat to boil for another 1.5 hours. Add the Chinese wolfberry, and boil for 10 minutes. The soup is ready to be served.
