This Japanese-style dish is tasty and easy to cook, perfect for new cooks who want to prepare flavorful meals for families but hesitate because of the complicated procedures. The thinly cut Wingtat sliced meat is simple and convenient to cook, easy to marinate and can be quickly pan-fried. When pork slices are curled and change color, add in garlic and pan-fry well. Adding in sweet ginger and diced scallion, this Japanese-style sliced pork will raise the whole family’s appetite!

Ingredients

Marinade:
  • Mirin 2 tsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Ginger Juice 1 tsp
  • Hondashi 1/2 tsp
Spices / Sauces:
  • Japanese Soy Sauce 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1/4 tsp
  • Cornstarch 1/2 tsp
  • Water 1 tbsp

Directions

  • Wipe dry Wingtat sliced pork and marinate for 5 minutes.
  • Peel garlic and press gently until loose. Mix marinate well.
  • Heat oil. Pan-fry marinated sliced pork until cooked, then add in garlic and stir-fry until fragrant. Add in sweet ginger and seasonings, stir well. Drizzle with diced scallion and serve.
