Pumpkin is a super food; the golden-colored flesh of pumpkins is both delicious and nutritious. Pumpkins have been proven to help prevent anemia and other cardiac diseases. Instead of the traditional white rice, this congee is made from enriched pearl barley and brown rice because both ingredients help lower the cholesterol level and improve digestion. The bran, germ, and endosperm inside pearl barley are beneficial for the human body in increasing nutrient absorption and waste disposal. In order to enhance the flavor of the congee, Wingtat Cornish Hen breast meat is used as the main ingredient, while the remaining parts of the cornish are used to make the congee base.

Reputable for her role as "Princess Taiping", Miss Alice Chan (Wai Gor) hosted and designed a successful “Alice’s Royal Feast” in Vancouver. She used local Canadian produce to create delicious dishes to impress everyone’s taste buds. In her cooking demonstration, Alice used Wingtat Quail to make "Nourishing and Healthy Baked Quail". At the end of September, in combination with “Alice’s Royal Feast”, Alice Chan also filmed
"Alice in Heart to Heart Kitchen". Alice searched throughout the city for Canadian ingredients and used them to create simple-to-make and unforgettable delicacies. Alice used Wingtat Products to cook Baked Quail with Honey & Yogurt, Beer Braised Young Duck, Hainanese Chicken Rice and Coconut Silkie Chicken Soup. During the filming of the program, Alice invited her friends, including Anita Lee and Dino Acconci (from the Band Soler), to taste her creations and to catch up. This two-episode series of "Alice in Heart to Heart Kitchen" presented by Wingtat, will be broadcasted on November 17th and 24th at 8:10pm on Fairchild TV.
