And just like that, we have arrived into the second last month of 2018. Autumn is coming to an end and most of the colourful leaves have already fallen to the ground. As we breathe in the chillier air, we are reminded that we are in the season to nourish. With the busy, winter holiday season approaching, Wingtat Members' Christmas「HO·HO·HO」 Shopping Party will kick start middle of this month. Members can order fine, nutritious products for the upcoming Winter Solstice family dinner and gatherings during the Winter holidays. Wingtat Kitchen shares two nourishing soup recipes, as well as a recipe for new Moms. For more information about our products, stay tune to AM1320 “Kitchen Talk” Radio Program every weekday at 10:30 am for Mrs. Chiu’s recipe recommendations. Last month, Wingtat participated in the episode that broadcasted the last weekend of October in Hong Kong. The「 Charity Dinner for Alzheimer’s」sponsored by Wingtat and Specialty Chicken & Wonton House successfully raised over $100,000 on Nov.3rd. We are happy to share to our friends in Hong Kong that a great selection of Wingtat Products is available at HK JEBN! Effective December 2018, to reduce the use of plastic bags, Wingtat will not be providing bags during our Shopping Parties. We recommend Members to bring their own bags (strong, heavy duty ones) to carry individually packed frozen Wingtat Products.     After giving birth, new moms need to intake ingredients that enrich the blood and iron to replenish their nutrition. Mornings are a good time to absorb nutrients.     “Eating well With Madam Wong - Vancouver” is a cooking and lifestyle TV program produced by TVB HK and hosted by Gigi Wong. This summer, Gigi flew to Vancouver to record this special series and invited Wingtat, one of Vancouver's largest and long-standing specialty asian poultry suppliers, to participate in the filming of the show. Remember to stay tuned to TVB HK for “Eating well With Madam Wong in Vancouver” starting every Sunday from September 2nd. Wingtat participated mainly in the episode that broadcasted on October 28th.

    During the filming, Gigi toured around a few Wingtat-associated farms located in Abottsford, BC, and saw partridges, quails, free-run chickens, organic chickens and silkie chickens. She witnessed the vast amount of indoor and outdoor spaces where Wingtat Poultry roamed around. She also visited Wingtat's packaging and warehouse facilities in Richmond, BC. Just as required by all our staff, the filming crew and Gigi followed all the health, sanitary and food safety protocols strictly upon entering the facilities. Needless to say, Gigi used many of our Wingtat signature products to create delicious recipes. Special thanks to TVB HK for the opportunity to share about our British Columbia raised poultry products to your viewers in Hong Kong.

    “Walk the Wall” charity walk is organized by the International China Concern (ICC) and sponsored by Wingtat Game Bird Packers. It is an international fundraising marathon which aims at helping the abandoned and disabled children in China. This year, Walk the Wall Vancouver has successfully come to an end on September 29th, and raised more than $195,588.
